Claude social media analytics
You can use Claude to analyze your social media by giving it your MySoMeData history over remote MCP. MySoMeData is a read-only social media data API and MCP layer for AI. It connects social accounts to AI applications and software, providing structured historical performance data that can be analyzed, queried, and used to build products. Claude is the AI client. MySoMeData is the read-only data layer. This is not an Anthropic product, and Claude does not receive your accounts unless you connect them.
How can I use Claude to analyze my social media data?
Connect Instagram, TikTok, or Pinterest in MySoMeData with read-only OAuth. Add the MySoMeData MCP server to Claude as a remote MCP connection. Ask about a period you care about. Claude calls the tools and answers from the JSON they return, which is your stored performance, not Claude’s general knowledge of social media.
What does the MCP connection provide?
The tools cover an account summary, historical trends, organic outliers, and audience demographics. Ratios such as engagement are already calculated, so the model can spend the reply on the comparison you asked for. Queries can use the last N days (up to 365), the last completed month, or the last completed week.
What kinds of analysis can you ask for?
- Performance: what changed in followers, impressions, reach, or views versus the previous period.
- Content: which stored posts are outliers, and which formats show a higher engagement rate.
- Audience: follower geography on Instagram when Meta returns it, or the TikTok follower mix.
- A next test, when the summary includes actions based on that history. A thin sample is directional, not a posting calendar.
What stays outside Claude’s reach?
The connection is read-only. Claude cannot publish, edit, or open your inbox through MySoMeData. It also cannot see a metric the platform did not provide. If you only connected TikTok, Instagram figures are out of scope for that account, not missing data.
